Reasonable restrictions.
Many Bay Area cities are making an effort to accommodate truckers. Some do better
than others, but at least they're trying.
Oakland has many areas where residential streets run right next to heavy industrial
areas. They also need to keep trucks from short-cutting off of the 880 freeway.
Poplar Street at West Grand Avenue.
No Through Trucks, but Local Trucks Okay. Makes sense!
In any event, Oakland is not known to enforce these signs.
